Brockmans

Brockmans represents a British production reality dedicated to the production of the highest quality Gin, respecting tradition while at the same time projecting itself into the future. The distillery was founded in 2008 in Surrey, not far from the capital London, by a group of friends intent on creating an exotic and unconventional Gin by combining their respective knowledge and skills, refusing to be tied to outdated notions regarding the way to make or taste this famous distillate. The botanicals used in the production of Brockmans Gin include plants, fruits, roots, and spices from around the world, in particular: juniper berries from Italy, lemon peels from the Spanish municipality of Murcia, Spanish orange peels, coriander from Bulgaria, cassia bark from Indochina, blueberries and blackberries from Northern Europe, Chinese licorice, angelica from Belgium and Saxony, almonds from Spain, and iris from Italy. The infusion of these botanicals takes place in the purest grain distillate for many hours, during which the the ingredients release the most noble aromas and essences, and the mixture is then subjected to a second distillation in a traditional copper still over a century old. Both the head and the tail of the distillation product are discarded, and only the heart, the purest and finest component, is used. Before finding the right recipe, countless selections of botanicals and attempts at combinations were made, in order to achieve the perfect final formula. The result of Brockmans' laborious and meticulous production process is a soft and intense premium Gin, exceptional to drink neat to savor the contrast between the freshness of citrus fruits, the aromaticity of juniper, and the exotic note of coriander. At the same time, this distillate is also excellent for making classic cocktails with unconventional flavors, such as Negroni, Tom Collins, or Gin & Tonic.
